Key Objectives

• Oversee design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery.
• Create detailed design specifications, select appropriate systems, and ensure compliance with standards and safety protocols.

Expected Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in QC Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas project design from conceptual to detailed design stages
• At least 5 years in a Lead Engineer role for major greenfield/brownfield projects (FEED/detailed design)
• Proven experience in instrumentation and control equipment selection, control strategies, and specifications
• Expertise in control system design, including control loop design, field instrumentation, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus)
• Experience managing a team of 50+ engineers and designers

Key Accountabilities

Over 10 years in Procurement Quality Management related to instrumentation and control disciplines, including vendor selection, inspection, testing, and performance evaluation.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify project requirements.
• Manage interface meetings to progress design scopes.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote safety culture within the team and project site.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ALARP reviews, and constructability assessments.
