Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- 10+ years of experience in Procurement Quality Management relevant to the QC discipline (I & C).
- Participation in vendor and subcontractor selection and approval.
- Procurement quality management, inspection and test planning and execution.
- Criticality rating management, vendor/subcontractor inspections, audits, and NC management.
- Managing procurement quality objectives and KPIs.
- Performance analysis and evaluation of vendors and subcontractors.
- Control management of procurement documents and records.
- Technical bid evaluation, queries, and change management.
- Liaising with third-party inspection agencies.
- Procurement quality performance reporting.
- Review and approval of vendor/subcontractor documents.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in QC Engineering or related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in oil & gas project design from conceptual to detailed design stages.
- Minimum 5 years in a lead engineer role for major greenfield/brownfield projects (FEED/detailed design).
- Proven experience in selecting instrumentation and control equipment, developing control strategies, and preparing specifications.
- Preferred expertise in control system design, including control loop design, field instrumentation, and communication protocols.
- Experience managing a team of 50+ engineers and designers.
- Experience coordinating satellite office teams, managing productivity and quality.
- Proficiency with industry software such as InTools, Conval, SPI, Navisworks, MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, flexible, and able to work under tight schedules.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, with effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of engineering work planning, control methods, and inter-discipline coordination.
- Understanding of construction practices and economic considerations.
