The role involves developing and implementing QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, reviewing certificates, and coordinating with project managers and contractors to ensure corrective actions and ISO standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction (Buildings / Infrastructure / Civil Works) industry, UAE or GCC preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of construction codes, standards, and quality control processes.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Proactive and able to work independently under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures for construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Review and approve material and equipment certificates and documentation.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation for management review.
• Monitor construction processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations.
• Assist in training site personnel on quality standards and best practices.
