Job summary

LNDMRK in Dubai is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to own quality end-to-end. This is a solo QA role with no existing framework to inherit, so you will build testing discipline from the ground up and collaborate directly with product and engineering to ship with confidence.

You will design an automation strategy for frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (FastAPI/Python), build end-to-end tests with Playwright or Cypress, and integrate them into CI/CD to catch regressions before release.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA experience with automation-first mindset.
• Experience building automated test frameworks from scratch.
• Strong Playwright or Cypress skills for end-to-end testing; Pytest for API testing.
• Comfortable in environments without defined QA processes.
• Ability to read Python and TypeScript to write tests.
• Strong CI/CD understanding and test integration.
• Analytical thinker who finds edge cases and failure modes.
• Clear written English to communicate defects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an automated testing strategy for frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (FastAPI/Python).
• Build and maintain end-to-end test suites using Playwright or Cypress; write API tests against FastAPI endpoints.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to catch regressions before production.
• Own test coverage across core domains including property listings, search, offers and payments, authentication, and admin tooling.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing on new features before release and think beyond the happy path.
• Work closely with the full-stack developer to catch issues early in the development cycle.
