Job summary

Dicetek LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright (TypeScript) and API testing. You will own test automation from design to execution, collaborating with Product, Development, DevOps, and UAT stakeholders to ensure high-quality digital solutions.

Bring 5–8 years of QA experience, deep knowledge of STLC, and a solid background in building scalable automation frameworks.

Qualifications

5–8 years of QA experience with web automation.
Knowledge of QA processes: STLC, test planning, design, and defect lifecycle.
Hands-on Playwright with TypeScript; building automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience API testing/automation (REST) with Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright.
Strong programming/scripting in TypeScript/JavaScript.
Understanding of automation design patterns (Page Object Model).
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Apply QA fundamentals alongside automation and defect lifecycle management.
Design, develop, and maintain Playwright TS automation framework.
Build API test scripts for REST validation using Postman/Rest Assured/Playwright.
Own test automation for assigned modules as an individual contributor.
Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps, and Business teams to define test strategies.
Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing with UAT stakeholders.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Identify and track defects; drive root cause analysis with development teams.
Generate test execution reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
