Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead QA and QC Inspector to oversee quality assurance and control functions for engineering or construction projects in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, while mentoring a team of inspectors.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate QA/QC inspection activities across project phases.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and documentation.

Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and workmanship.

Review project specifications, drawings, and standards for quality compliance.

Identify non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients on quality issues.

Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.

Prepare quality reports, audit findings, and documentation for stakeholders.

Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and QA/QC staff.

Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant quality certifications.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 3 years in a lead role.

Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, API, etc.).

Experience in construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.

Proficiency in inspection and testing methods and tools.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and communication abilities.
