Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Project Controls Engineer to join our team!

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Establish and maintain project control systems, covering cost, schedule, and scope management.
2. Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and ensure accurate project tracking across all lots.
3. Review DELIVERY CONTRACTORS schedules, progress reports, and forecasts for alignment with program objectives.
4. Provide periodic progress and performance updates to the Program Director and stakeholders.
5. Lead change management processes, ensuring proper assessment of impact on time, cost, and resources.
6. Prepare and maintain project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
7. Monitor project expenditures and cost trends, identifying potential variances from the approved budget.
8. Collaborate with DELIVERY CONTRACTORS to review cost submissions, identify discrepancies, and propose corrections.
9. Conduct value engineering and cost-benefit analyses to optimize project resources.
10. Prepare detailed cost reports for stakeholders, including earned value analysis (EVA) and cost performance indicators (CPI).
11. Support change management processes, assessing the cost impact of scope changes and variations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (i.e. Mechanical, Civil, etc.)
2. 15+ years of experience in project controls for large scale construction / utilities projects, 5 years experience as Lead Engineer
3. 8+ years in cost engineering roles, preferably within large scale EPC Contractor projects
4. GCC experience
5. Analytical skills, communication, problem solving, and team leadership
6. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Primavera Risk Analysis and cost control software.
