Job summary

Inception42 in Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on technical leader to own production diagnosis, incident recovery, and platform reliability across our AI-powered products. You will span code, runtimes, observability, and automation while collaborating with Product Engineering and infrastructure teams.

You will guide incident recovery, maintain clear communication with customers and engineers, and drive reliability improvements through runbooks, dashboards, and robust deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in production application support or reliability engineering with ownership of incidents.
• Ability to read and debug source code in languages like Python, Java, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong observability skills and experience with tracing, logs, and metrics.
• Clear communication with engineers, customers, and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set technical standards for diagnosis, observability, runbooks, and recovery.
• Own escalated support cases with focus on customer impact and service commitments.
• Lead incidents with cross-group coordination and recovery validation.
• Diagnose failures across code, APIs, databases, and runtimes using telemetry and queries.
• Create actionable escalations with reproduction steps and evidence.
• Improve dashboards, alerts, and reliability objectives with service owners.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce repetitive work.
• Drive release readiness, health checks, and rollback procedures.
• Assess capacity and resilience through testing and failure mode analysis.
• Lead root-cause reviews and track corrective actions.
