Job summary

KBR is seeking a Lead Planning Engineer to supervise and deliver comprehensive planning, scheduling, and cost-control activities for onshore mega EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will drive schedule integrity, KPI reporting, and risk mitigation across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires deep experience with Primavera P6/MS Project, strong analytical skills, and a track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget in oil & gas or energy sectors.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, or cost control.
• Experience in oil & gas, energy, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Proven track record in mega EPC projects and onshore site environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor progress against baselines; analyze variances and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and KPIs for management.
• Identify risks, maintain risk registers, and implement mitigations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors and Clients.
