Job summary

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading Tier 1 contracting company in the UAE to recruit a skilled Planning Engineer Civil for high-rise building projects. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and coordination to ensure timely project execution.

The candidate will prepare and update schedules, monitor progress, identify risks, and collaborate with project managers, consultants and site teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 310 years of experience in contracting companies.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies and project coordination.
• Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules, work programs and progress reports.
• Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Support planning and execution activities for high-rise building projects.
• Review project drawings, construction schedules and technical documents.
• Assist in resource planning, productivity analysis and progress tracking.
• Prepare recovery schedules and project status reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, contractual requirements and company standards.
• Maintain planning documentation, reports and project records.
