A leading company in the oil & gas sector is seeking a Discipline Engineer to join their team. The role involves executing technical work for FEED and detailed designs, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining excellent planning performance throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates should possess a strong engineering background with significant experience in oil & gas projects, particularly within the Middle East. This position is crucial for driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Discipline engineer in one or more integrated in-house / contractor teams handling multiple project responsibilities.
Execute technical work for FEED and Detailed Designs (designs, specifications, drawings, etc.) within designated CTR scopes.
Maintain excellent planning performance throughout the engineering phase of the project life cycle.
Implement, practice, and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in FEED office projects in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements.
Carry out appropriate discipline and inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work.
Contribute to the development of execution contracting strategies that complement designs, construction methods, and operating methods.
Remain engaged in design issues and decisions throughout construction, commissioning, and start-up.
Create demonstrable value for customers by understanding their drivers and critical success factors.
Capture and apply internal and external learnings and incorporate improvements.
Deliver continuously improving performance, benchmarked as top tier in the industry.
Write weekly reports accurately.
Ensure own discipline engineering and design work are successfully delivered and appropriate reviews conducted.
Ensure quality of technical work and the technical integrity, functionality, constructability, safe operation, and reliability of designs.
Participate in multiple engineering reviews and provide sound design inputs.
Maintain effective interfaces and relationships within and between disciplines, and with peers in other EP Projects teams and Assets.
Emphasize the development of young TSE engineers.
Provide guidance and advice on planning matters consistently within the team.
