Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in oil & gas and 6 years in FEED/Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in the Middle East is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritizing team performance over individual recognition.
- Capability to manage multiple project responsibilities.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering work and projects with appropriate reviews.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining engineering processes, systems, and software tools.
Purpose:
The Specialized Planning Engineer reviews and approves TSE design documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a discipline engineer within integrated in-house and contractor teams handling multiple responsibilities.
- Execute technical work for FEED and Detailed Designs, including specifications and drawings within designated CTR scopes.
- Maintain excellent planning performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition.
- Conduct discipline and inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work.
- Contribute to developing execution contracting strategies aligned with design, construction, and operational methods.
- Remain engaged in design decisions throughout construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Create value for customers by understanding their drivers and success factors.
- Capture and apply lessons learned, incorporating improvements.
- Strive for top-tier industry performance.
- Accurately document weekly work hours.
- Ensure the successful delivery and review of own discipline engineering and design work.
- Maintain quality, technical integrity, functionality, safety, and reliability of designs.
- Participate in multiple engineering reviews, providing sound design inputs.
- Maintain effective interdisciplinary interfaces and relationships.
- Support the development of young TSE engineers.
- Provide guidance on planning matters consistently within the team.
