Job Requirement

KBR seeks a Lead Planning Engineer with LNG experience based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 20 years of oil & gas experience.
  • At least 5-8 years in a Lead role.
  • Experience with EPC phase of LNG projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Ability to prepare summary schedules based on strategic options for management decision-making.
  • Develop, update, and maintain scheduling systems and procedures, including Basis of Schedule, project planning, progress measurement, reporting, trending, and certification, compliant with ADNOC standards.
  • Review and analyze submissions from PMC and EPC contractors related to planning, scheduling, progress, and schedule risk analysis, considering project priorities and agreements.
  • Endorse monthly physical progress claims from contractors/consultants.
  • Identify schedule impact concerns and advise project managers on corrective actions.
  • Perform critical path analysis and report issues to management.
  • Review resource deployment and validate adequacy for schedule completion; recommend improvements.
  • Evaluate variation requests and claims for schedule extensions, providing recommendations for approval.
  • Review schedule risk analyses and mitigation measures periodically to ensure implementation.
  • Coordinate with Project Control Managers of PMCs and EPC contractors to ensure adherence to control procedures.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for ongoing projects, ensuring achievement in collaboration with project teams.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and presentation materials for meetings and committees.
  • Support cost control inputs for budget preparation and schedule variation justifications.
