Lead Piping Engineer

Wood is presently looking to hire Lead Piping Engineers to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center. Below are more details about the positions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Lead and supervise a team of Piping Engineers and Designers
• Hands-on experience in Piping Software – 3D Design Software (AVEVA, Smart Plant, and CAESAR II / Auto Pipe Stress Analysis software).
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent command of English.
• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals outside of the Company.
• Experience in Oil and Gas Projects working with Major Consultancy Companies and minimum 5 years’ experience in the lead role.
• Experience in different stages of projects (Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design) of large-sized onshore projects.
• Piping Engineering (Layout Design, Piping Materials, and Stress Engineering) of Onshore Processing / Refinery Plants.
