Job summary

McDermott is seeking a Senior Piping Designer to deliver comprehensive piping design across FEED and Detailed Design phases. You will develop 3D models, ensure clash-free coordination with disciplines, and guide the design team under limited supervision.

Strong background in oil and gas projects and Pro-E/Creo/AutoCAD familiarity are expected. You will lead design activities, interact with Project Team, Client, and vendors, and ensure compliance with HSE and project standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or drafting background in mechanical design.
• 10 years in oil and gas with Pre-FEED/FEED and Detailed Design.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (E3D/SP3D) and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of local and international design standards.
• Willingness to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and ensure clash-free coordination across disciplines.
• Execute FEED and Detailed Design tasks within schedule, safety, and quality constraints.
• Lead design tasks, coordinate with Project Team and clients.
• Coordinate 3D Model Reviews and close comments efficiently.
• Identify scope changes and issue change notifications in the system.
• Support piping engineering and fabrication teams as needed.
