Job description

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll for ATG in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role involves calculating salaries, additions, deductions, and benefits, maintaining payroll records, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Processing monthly payroll for ATG companies, including leave administration, pension computation, and managing additions and deductions to ensure timely salary transfers.
  • Administering employee leave, including processing leave benefit settlements and tracking leave accrued, applied, and taken.
  • Verifying checklists and completing formalities for employee severance or transfers between group companies, ensuring full and final settlement of dues.
  • Preparing and reconciling automotive month-end costing files and group MIS reports.
  • Liaising with the finance team to reconcile payroll data with the general ledger, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Analysing payroll data to identify trends, optimize processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll operations and drive process improvements.
  • Managing payroll software and databases, maintaining accurate employee records and payroll information.
  • Reimbursing HR-related bills, reviewing and processing of Flex payment vouchers, and charging group companies as per advice.
  • Assisting Provide information related to internal and external auditing to ensure smooth and timely completion of audit procedures.
  • Staying up to date with changes in legislation and company policies, adapting payroll processes accordingly.
  • Leading the team in performing UAT during system-related changes to ensure a seamless implementation.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports related to salary, gratuity, and leave passage.
