Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Dubai is seeking a skilled Equipment Coordinator to manage project-specific deployment of plant and machinery in alignment with construction schedules. The role ensures the right equipment is available for civil, mechanical, electrical, and transmission works across multiple sites.

The incumbent will forecast equipment needs, coordinate procurement or rental, implement maintenance programs, monitor health and repairs, and uphold UAE safety and HSE standards while

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating equipment deployment for large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of UAE safety regulations and project HSE standards.
• Ability to forecast equipment needs and coordinate procurement, rentals, and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Develop project-wise equipment deployment plans based on construction schedules.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of plant and machinery across project sites.
• Ensure availability of critical equipment required for civil, mechanical, electrical, and transmission works.
• Forecast equipment requirements and coordinate procurement, rental, or inter-project transfers.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor equipment health, breakdown records, and repair schedules.
• Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for major repairs and warranty claims.
• Maintain equipment service records and statutory certifications.
• Ensure all plant and machinery comply with UAE safety regulations and project HSE standards.
• Conduct equipment inspections and safety audits.
• Lead Equipment Coordinators, Plant Supervisors, Mechanics, and Operators.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Coordinate resources across multiple work fronts.
