Lead OTS Engineer

Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking an experienced OTS engineer to lead the engineering activities of Operator Training System across refining, petrochemical, and polymer processes.

You will drive commissioning of Digital Twin solutions, ensure design quality, and manage project schedules while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the OTS domain.
• Hands-on commissioning of OTS & Digital Twin in refining, petrochemical and polymer units.
• Omega Land Software implementation experience would be an added advantage.
• APC implementation experience with Yokogawa PACE would be an added advantage.
• PetroSIM implementation experience would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering activities of the Operator Training System (OTS) to deliver value-added solutions.
• Ensure design quality to meet all design reviews and internal audits.
• Manage project schedules and deliver model sections for integration.
• Work to specifications for model areas of the OTS.
• Participate in OTS validation and witness testing, FAT and I-FAT.
• Site support for commissioning of OTS projects and SAT and closure.

Job Responsibility:

• Responsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS) to provide value-added engineering solutions
• Ensure successful completion of design; achieve desired quality to meet all design review and internal audit requirements
• Manage project schedules to meet delivery timelines. Delivery of model sections for integration.
• Working to specification for model areas.
• Participate in OTS project validation and witness testing and successful conduction of FAT & I-FAT.
• Site support for commissioning OTS Project and conduction of SAT and project closure.

Job Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years work experience in the field of OTS domain
• Bachelors degree in chemical engineering. Masters degree is preferable.
• Hands on experience for commissioning OTS & Digital Twin in Refining Petrochemical and Polymer process units.
