The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead OT Cyber Security Engineer with a proven track record in discovering vulnerabilities and risks in networks, software systems, and data centers. The role involves ongoing vulnerability scans, monitoring network data, and ensuring hardware and software applications are updated. The Industrial Cybersecurity Consultant will provide principal consulting on ICS Cybersecurity to customers, project personnel, and project teams, while helping to build Wood's Digital Integration service portfolio and business volume for a high-profile client.

Key Objectives for this role:
- Advise clients and promote, develop, and implement cybersecurity solutions for industrial control systems in energy and materials industries
- Conduct cybersecurity gap assessments per NIST, ISA 27001, and ISA/IEC-62443 frameworks
- Consult on OT Cybersecurity Resilience roadmap development and implementation
- Support growth and delivery performance in Industrial Cybersecurity and digital solutions
- Assist in developing and delivering business plans aligned with Wood's strategy
- Consult on strategic, contractual, technical, operational, and personnel challenges impacting customer service
- Stay informed on cybersecurity practices, standards, and threat trends
- Promote ICS Cybersecurity practices within the organization
- Support Business Development through presentations, proposals, and responses
- Build practice knowledge base and resources
- Represent Wood in industry forums, publish white papers, and participate in professional organizations
- Maintain relationships with key clients and support new business development
- Implement Industrial Cyber Security solutions, including client meetings, stakeholder engagement, technical interface management, assessments, planning, configuration, testing, commissioning, and change management
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with evolving threats
- Analyze the competitive landscape to inform service development
- Support proposal development and project costing
- Standardize project execution workflows across regions
- Represent solutions at conferences and industry panels
- Drive growth targets for the Digital Integration group
- Uphold ethical standards and compliance
- Maintain personal expertise and certifications in OT Cybersecurity

Expected:
- Minimum 15+ years' experience in a similar role
- Multi-sector knowledge and global project experience
- Proven experience with IT/OT cybersecurity management systems, risk assessments, and mitigation in industrial automation environments
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, backup/recovery solutions, and deploying security solutions
- Experience configuring industrial networking equipment and control system vendors
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proposal and project costing experience
- Understanding of plant operations and digital twin architectures
