Job summary

Astro Offshore is seeking an experienced Offshore Crane Supervisor to oversee daily lifting operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of offshore crane activities.

The role involves supervising crane operations, coordinating maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading personnel. Candidates should have 5+ years of offshore experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent leadership skills.

This position will require the ability to work effectively in fast-paced offshore environments while maintaining a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in offshore or marine crane operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of crane systems, with some leadership experience.
• Experience in compliance with offshore safety regulations and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily offshore crane operations for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor crane systems' condition and performance.
• Oversee maintenance inspections and certifications of lifting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with marine safety protocols and regulations.
• Lead and coordinate crane operators and maintenance personnel.
• Troubleshoot crane issues and develop solutions to challenges.
• Prepare reports on crane usage, performance, and maintenance activities.

Skills

5+ years of experience in offshore or marine crane operations

Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems

Experience in crane inspections and compliance

Education
