Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Neurodiagnostic professional to independently conduct EEG tests and long-term video EEG monitoring, while ensuring compliance with lab standards and safety protocols.

The role may involve staff supervision, inventory management, and coordinating lab schedules. A Bachelor degree and a current national license are required, with at least 4 years in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• NLT 4 years’ experience in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor Degree in Applied Sciences, Neurophysiology or Biophysics/Physiology or equivalent 3 years diploma.
• AND Current national License

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of supplies for the lab room and manages stock rotation.
• Documents testing procedures and informs supervisor of equipment issues.
• Plans laboratory schedules and assigns priorities by workload and urgency.
• Performs routine and advanced EEG recordings and video monitoring as per lab standards.
• Conducts Evoked Potentials and Nerve Conduction Studies with high quality results.
• Coordinates education sessions and assists in hiring/training staff.
