Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to manage and coordinate MEP works across building projects. The ideal candidate will review drawings, specifications and submittals, and ensure coordination with civil, structural, and architectural teams.

You will monitor progress and support cost control, with strong communication skills essential for success. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 4–8 years of MEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in MEP engineering within building construction.
• Strong experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use buildings.
• Good knowledge of building MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise MEP works for building construction projects.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, and architectural teams.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Review RFIs, method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Support BOQ review, material planning, variations, and cost control.
• Attend project meetings and provide progress updates.
