Job description

Overview

Multiple mechanical, civil, electrical engineering roles in the UAE, focused on design, analysis, documentation, and project coordination for static equipment, MEP, HVAC, and related systems. Positions require proficiency with CAD tools, engineering standards, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities (selected)

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for static equipment and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with international codes and industry standards.
• Design and analyze mechanical, civil, or electrical systems; prepare technical drawings, simulations, and documentation; support fabrication and procurement teams.
• Produce technical drawings and documentation for MEP projects; review client drawings and maintain project documentation; coordinate with workshop and site teams.
• Develop electrical designs, create construction drawings, ensure standards compliance, support procurement with technical inputs, and generate models for offshore projects.
• Lead mechanical design activities for projects, coordinate with clients and vendors, and conduct design reviews and technical meetings.
• Prepare technical specifications and drawings for overhead line projects; perform foundation and pile design analyses where applicable.
• Coordinate design with third parties, manage multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop HVAC system designs, perform load calculations, and provide technical support for chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment.
• Prepare shop and fabrication drawings and ensure compliance with project standards and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills (typical)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience ranges typically from 2 to 10+ years depending on the role
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and engineering analysis tools (ETABS, Revit where applicable)
• Knowledge of ASME, RTA/Dubai compliance where relevant, and ability to generate technical proposals and calculations
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership capabilities
