Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 15–20 years of relevant experience in base-metals or minerals processing.
• Proven experience as an owner's engineer or in detailed design review and approval.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical engineering across plant projects.
• Review, check and approve mechanical design deliverables from EPC/consultants.
• Demonstrate leadership during detailed engineering and ensure proper integration of disciplines.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical equipment used in metallurgical processing.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards.
• Conduct due diligence and provide technical comments on deliverables.
• Review Bills of Quantities and equipment sizing with cost awareness.
• Approve engineering calculations, datasheets, specs and value-engineering proposals.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and mentor the mechanical engineering team.
