Job summary

An engineering consultancy firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design processes on mixed use projects. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience, especially in large-scale projects. Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential. This is a direct hire for an immediate start in a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8-10 years post undergraduate experience.
• Proven related professional experience in a recognised consultancy company.
• Experience of working on large scale mix use projects.
• Knowledge in REVIT in addition to the usual Mechanical design programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process on mixed use projects.
• Oversee the use of Autodesk Revit tools for design solutions.
• Provide leadership in planning and design of building engineering systems.
• Perform engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, and engineering calculations.
• Oversee contacts with vendors for services and equipment.
