Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Material Handler Specialist, Foreman to coordinate tasks and supervise yard operations in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures adequate manpower, handles crane/forklift operations, and upholds safety and quality standards on site.

The candidate should have 2-3 years of yard experience, basic English proficiency, and strong organization and rigging knowledge to support riggers and daily reporting to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education – High School or diploma.
• Work experience – 2-3 years in yard operations.
• Basic English fluency (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks according to plan and priorities.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate for operations.
• Supervise crane, forklift, and related equipment use.
• Monitor daily operations and report updates to Supervisor.
• Escalate and report issues to Supervisor.
• Support riggers with offloading, packing, bundling, and picking.
• Promote safety and security on site and ensure policy adherence.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management to meet business needs.
