Job Description
The AVP Marketing Business Partnerships is responsible for creating and executing consumer-focused marketing campaigns and activities across a portfolio of products to drive revenue and acquisition among new and existing customers.
The role reports to the VP Marketing Business Partnerships CBG Credit Cards. It can be based in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi, with travel between emirates.
Job specific accountabilities:
- Develop overall marketing plans and execute all marketing activities and campaigns for co-brand credit cards, spends activities, and FAB Rewards to meet annual marketing objectives.
- Lead the delivery of marketing campaigns and activities for assigned areas.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver quality marketing in appropriate channels at the right time.
- Manage above-the-line and below-the-line marketing requirements by working with creative, media, and digital agencies from brief development to execution.
- Coordinate with third-party partners to market co-branded products and campaigns.
- Maximize activation of FAB’s sponsorship assets to drive revenue or acquisition.
- Analyze customer data and marketing channel effectiveness to target audiences and deliver conversion-driven assets at optimal times.
- Track marketing performance before, during, and after launches to identify and address issues promptly.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and research, integrating relevant insights into marketing strategies.
- Ensure executional excellence by managing projects on time and within budget.
Work collaboratively across functions including creative, digital, social, operations, research, analytics, activation, and PR across all products.
Functional areas covered: Credit cards (specifically co-brands), card spends, branches, sales, FAB mobile app, and FAB Rewards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline.
Minimum Experience
- 8 years of relevant marketing experience, with at least 5 years in roles of increasing responsibility.
Other required experience:
- Experience working with agencies and teams in marketing roles.
- Background in FMCG or banking preferred; lifestyle brand experience is a plus.
- Experience working with global, regional, and local marketing teams, especially in the region and developed markets.
