Job summary

Confidential, a leading marine and shipyard company, seeks an experienced Workshop Supervisor for its Abu Dhabi operations in Musaffah ICAD 2. You will supervise workshop activities, lead technical teams, and uphold safety and quality standards to support maintenance, fabrication, repair and installation projects.

The ideal candidate has proven workshop supervision experience in marine, shipyard or heavy industrial settings, strong knowledge of workshop operations and HSE/QA/QC familiarity; UAE

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor in a marine, shipyard, offshore, or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of workshop operations, mechanical maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation.
• Knowledge of HSE and QA/QC requirements
• UAE experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workshop maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation activities
• Lead and monitor technicians, mechanics, fabricators, and subcontractors
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Coordinate with engineering, HSE, QA/QC, and other departments
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, machinery, and equipment requirements
• Conduct workshop inspections and ensure safety and quality compliance
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and implement solutions
• Prepare daily workshop progress reports and provide updates to management
• Maintain proper housekeeping and equipment conditions
• Ensure compliance with marine, shipyard, HSE, and company procedures
