Job summary

Marriott International is seeking an experienced Hotel Engineer for Marriott Executive Apartments in Dubai. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, HVAC/refrigeration certification, and at least 2 years of hotel engineering experience. A valid driver’s license and universal CFC certification are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC/refrigeration certificate from a 2-year program.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and refrigeration/electrical certification in progress or earned.
• Universal CFC certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Inspect and operate all building shut‑offs and safety systems.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and supervise in absence of management.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety standards.
