Job summary

Talentmate seeks a Principal Hook Up Engineer to oversee hook-up and commissioning activities within the EPCI sector, coordinating with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure successful execution.

The role requires deep expertise in standards, project management, and team leadership, with a focus on safety, quality, and client relations across major projects. Dubai/Abu Dhabi region experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years in hook-up & commissioning in EPCI with offshore/onshore exposure.
• Strong knowledge of API, ISO, ASME standards and compliance oversight.
• Experience in project management and resource optimization.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and problem-solving prowess.
• Effective written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with industry standards during hook-up & commissioning.
• Conduct constructability reviews and maintain logs.
• Capture lessons learned and maintain project documentation.
• Lead mobilization readiness for Jack Up Barge/Hook Up.
• Support and promote engineering policies and yard procedures.
• Contribute input to bids and historical project data.
