"To apply: Ref - 5379100. My client are on the look for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Game Designer to join their dynamic mobile games team. This would require relocation to the Middle East. This salary on offer is a lucrative tax-free salary with relocation/visa assistance.

As a Lead Game Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the creative vision and development of our game projects from concept to launch. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including artists, programmers, and production staff, to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping game mechanics, balancing gameplay, and ensuring that our games resonate with players. This position demands a deep understanding of game design principles as well as the ability to analyze and iterate on designs based on feedback and testing. Your strategic leadership will play a pivotal role in defining the future of our gaming titles and driving our success in the competitive gaming landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead the game design process for assigned projects from conception to launch.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to refine game mechanics and aesthetics.
• Mentor and guide junior designers in developing their skills and professional growth.
• Conduct regular playtests and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Analyze market trends and player feedback to shape design strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in game design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of shipping successful games across various platforms.
• Experience working on free to play mobile games
• Strong understanding of game mechanics, storytelling, and player engagement techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Proficiency in game design software and tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar.
• Ability to analyze data and player feedback to drive design improvements.
