Job summary

Reyami Rental in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for prefabricated cabins, containers and related services. You will review drawings, coordinate with engineers and suppliers, and ensure timely and competitive quotations.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying, with strong Excel skills and proven estimating experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field is required.
• Experience estimating for prefabricated cabins, modular buildings, containers or construction is essential.
• Strong communication and coordination skills are required.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating tools with ability to analyze drawings and tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for prefabricated cabins and containers including materials, labour, transportation and related services.
• Review project specifications, drawings and client requirements to determine scope and identify risks.
• Coordinate with engineers, production teams, suppliers, subcontractors and clients for accurate quotations.
• Analyze project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize estimates while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Develop and maintain cost databases, estimation templates and historical pricing records.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate pricing, availability and logistics.
• Ensure all estimates are complete, accurate and submitted within deadlines.
• Assist in tender preparation, bid submissions, contract negotiations and project planning activities.
• Provide cost-related input for project scheduling, budgeting and execution.
