Job summary

Emirates Engine Maintenance Centre in Dubai is seeking a Production Planning Engineer to lead end-to-end planning for assigned areas, including work package preparation, estimation, dock control, and shop planning. You will apply aircraft knowledge to review packages, develop accurate estimates, and coordinate with stakeholders.

The role requires an engineering degree, 5+ years in aircraft maintenance or production planning, and strong MS Office skills; ULTRAMAIN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical) required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in Aircraft Maintenance or Production Planning.
• Good knowledge of aircraft systems, power plants and components.
• Thorough understanding of aircraft regulatory requirements and maintenance documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ULTRAMAIN would be an advantage.
• Excellent people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects to continuously improve Production Planning Department and improve services to Operations.
• Manage end-to-end Production Planning activities for the assigned area (Work Package Preparation, Estimation, Dock Control, Workshop or Check Planning).
• Review work packages with PPEs and develop accurate estimates for planning inputs.
• Coordinate planning requirements with stakeholders across Engineering and contribute to PPC process improvements.
• Provide guidance to the planning team and ensure work package closure auditing and adherence to SLAs.
• Oversee coordination with 3rd parties and internal departments to align planning efforts.

GCAA/EASA Engineering Licence with type rating on Emirates fleet aircraft
