Job summary

Black Box in Dubai seeks a senior technical and project leader within a system integration environment to balance technical expertise, solution design, client engagement, and execution leadership for high-quality delivery.

You will drive ELV and security deployments, coordinate with project managers, site teams, and authorities, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. The role requires steering design, commissioning, and mentoring engineers while optimizing delivery and value for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering discipline required.
• Deploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering discipline (spelling in source) is noted.

Responsibilities

• Lead ELV Security System projects from kick‑off to commissioning and handover.
• Act as the technical authority during project execution, resolving design and site-level challenges.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site teams, subcontractors, and other ELV disciplines.
• Ensure installations align with approved drawings, specifications, OEM guidelines and best practices.
• Perform FAT/SAT, authority testing, and integration with IT infrastructure; support inspections.
• Lead commissioning, handover, and after‑sales support including manuals and training.

Education

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering discipline.
• Deploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering discipline

Experience

• 10+ years of ELV / Security Systems experience
• 4–6 years in a senior or lead role within a System Integrator environment
• o SME and Enterprise customers
• o Contracting and construction projects
• o Multi site and integrated security deployments

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Delivery & Technical Execution

• Lead ELV Security System projects from kick‑off to commissioning and handover
• Act as the technical authority during project execution, resolving design and site-level challenges
• Coordinate with:
• Project Managers
• Site teams and subcontractors
• Other ELV disciplines (ICT, AV, BMS, Structured Cabling)
• Ensure installations align with:
• Approved drawings and specifications
• OEM guidelines and international best practices

Configure:

• VMS,ACS software,Alarm systems,Network integrations

Execute:

• FAT / SAT,Authority testing,Performance validation,Ensure full integration with IT infrastructure ,Support SIRA / authority inspections Train customer IT/security teams

• Serve as the primary technical interface for:
• SME and Enterprise customers
• Main contractors and consultants
• Authorities and inspection teams
• Support pre‑sales and post‑award activities by:
• Clarifying technical queries
• Providing value engineering and optimization options
• Supporting solution presentations and demonstrations when required
• Build trust through clear communication, timely delivery, and technical excellence

3. Regulatory Compliance & Authority Approvals

• Ensure all security systems comply with UAE and Emirate‑specific regulations, including:
• Dubai Police SIRA requirements
• Local authority and Civil Defense requirements where applicable
• Manage design submissions, inspections, testing, and final approvals
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving security regulations and standards

4. Commissioning, Handover & After‑Sales Support

• Lead commissioning and system integration activities
• Ensure delivery of:
• O&M manuals
• Testing and certification documents
• Support customer training and transition to operations

Provide technical support and guidance during warranty and defect liability periods

5. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and mentor Engineers, Supervisors, and Technicians
• Set technical standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks
• Support skill development across design, deployment, and troubleshooting

6. Commercial & Operational Support

• Support project cost control, variation evaluation, and optimization initiatives
• Assist management with:
• Resource planning
• Risk identification and mitigation
• Continuous improvement of delivery processes
