Job summary

Al Marwan Developments is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance, troubleshooting and planning of electrical systems across heavy machinery on multiple project sites. The role demands strong technical knowledge and leadership to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will oversee installation, maintenance and repair, diagnose faults, and develop preventive maintenance schedules while coordinating with mechanical teams and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 47 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably with heavy machinery or construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems circuits and components in heavy equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and asset management systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices.
• UAE driving license is an advantage
• Flexible proactive and able to work across different locations as required

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems in heavy machinery such as excavators loaders cranes and trucks
• Diagnose complex electrical faults and provide effective technical solutions
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems
• Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Ensure compliance with safety standards regulations and company procedures
• Review and interpret electrical schematics drawings and technical documentation
• Coordinate with mechanical teams workshop staff and site personnel for maintenance activities
• Supervise electricians and technicians to ensure quality and timely completion of work
• Maintain accurate reports maintenance records and technical documentation
• Support procurement by specifying electrical components and spare parts
• Attend major breakdowns and provide technical guidance for quick resolution
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support operational efficiency
