Job summary

Al Marwan Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial and project sites. The candidate should have hands-on electrical experience, strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently while prioritizing safety and compliance with standards.

The role requires an ITI or Diploma in Electrical and a minimum of 24 years of field experience in construction, maintenance or facilities

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent technical qualification.
• 24 years of experience as an Electrician in construction, maintenance or FM projects.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems wiring installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and follow technical instructions.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• UAE experience preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting and control panels.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective actions promptly.
• Install and test components such as switches, sockets, DBs, MCBs, RCCBs and fixtures.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Assist in cable pulling, conduit installation and termination works.
• Support breakdown calls and on-site emergency repairs.
• Maintain records of work, materials used and daily activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians and other trades to ensure smooth operations.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Electrician include but are not limited to:

• Install maintain and repair electrical systems wiring lighting and control panels.
