Job summary

TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A. Dubai Branch seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of complex electrical systems from concept through completion.

You will mentor a team of engineers, oversee schematics and specs for power distribution and control systems, and ensure projects meet timelines and budgets while coordinating procurement and vendor negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in a specific industry sector relevant to the job.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development and implementation of complex electrical systems from concept to completion ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers.
• Oversee creation and review of detailed electrical schematics, layouts and specifications for power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Drive the selection and procurement of electrical components and equipment, negotiating with vendors to secure optimal pricing and quality.
