Job summary

Indman DMCC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior lead engineer to verify discipline engineering for HV/LV power systems. The role requires coordinating verifications across teams, developing corrective actions, and ensuring timely responses to audit comments.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning, with familiarity in IEC standards and power software tools. A multinational project environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 18+ years total experience with 10+ years in lead or senior roles.
• Lead engineering in detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning of HV/LV power systems.
• Familiar with IEC standards and power system design tools.
• Strong coaching across multinational teams.

• Verify projects discipline engineering per delivery plan and schedule.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conducting the Projects discipline engineering verification in accordance with the agreed delivery Plan and annual Schedule.
• Coordinating with the individuals involved in the verifications so that they know the objectives scope schedule of the verification activities.
• Consolidation of specific check sheets for the reviews to be conducted and ensuring comments are returned as per agreed timescales.
• Document review findings utilising the Check sheet Templates ensuring the correct code is allocated and comments are clear.
• Work with leadership personnel accountable management to develop the corrective actions for findings and assist in the identification of due dates and action owners through to closure.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years’ total experience and 10 years of relevant experience as Lead or Senior.
• Experience of lead engineering role in detailed engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning of HV/LV power systems incorporating power generation, HV/LV switchgear, transformers, and distribution equipment.
• Experience of power system design software packages.
• Candidate to demonstrate familiarity with all relevant industry codes, standards and practices (IEC).
• Strong coaching skills developed in multi-national projects with diverse nationalities and cultures.
