Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Propulsor & Powertrain Integration Engineer to lead the integration of advanced electric propulsion and powertrain systems in a next‑generation aircraft program in Dubai, UAE.

You will define system-level requirements, manage interfaces, and coordinate cross‑disciplinary teams to ensure robust propulsion architecture, performance, and certification readiness across the development lifecycle.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in propulsion systems engineering, powertrain integration or aircraft systems development.
• Strong understanding of electric propulsion architectures, motors, inverters and power electronics.
• Proven experience integrating complex propulsion/powertrain systems in regulated engineering environments.
• Knowledge of propulsion performance, power distribution and thermal management.
• Experience with requirements management, interface control, verification and validation.
• Familiarity with modelling tools like MATLAB/Simulink or MBSE.

• Lead technical integration of electric propulsors and powertrain systems into advanced aircraft platforms.
• Define system-level requirements and interfaces for propulsion architectures.
• Oversee integration of motors, inverters, power electronics and control systems.
• Collaborate with aerodynamics, battery, thermal and flight control teams.
