Job summary

Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd. seeks a Chief Engineer / Head of Electrical for a Dubai-based aerospace program.

You will provide technical leadership across the design, development, integration and certification of advanced aircraft electrical systems, including high-voltage architectures and energy management. The role demands extensive aerospace experience, strong leadership and a track record of delivering complex electrical systems through design, verification and certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or related engineering field.
• Extensive electrical engineering experience in aerospace or safety-critical industries.
• Proven leadership at Chief Engineer/Head of Engineering level.
• Strong knowledge of HV and LV power architectures and EWIS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for aircraft electrical systems and architectures.
• Lead development of HV/LV power distribution and energy management.
• Oversee design, integration, and verification of electrical power systems.
• Define requirements, specs and interface controls for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with propulsion, avionics, and systems engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace certification and airworthiness standards.
• Lead safety assessments, reliability analyses and risk mitigation.
