Job summary

ADNOC in United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Drilling and Workover Engineer to lead cross-functional teams in executing complex campaigns such as Biogenic Shallow Gas. The role emphasizes strict cost control, schedule adherence, and innovative drilling solutions.

The candidate will define development plans, endorse drilling programs, and collaborate with Petroleum, Reservoir, and Petrophysics teams to ensure alignment with ADNOC standards and international best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years related experience in Drilling / Workover Engineering and Operations.
• Experience with OPCOs, preferably UAE.
• Experience in offshore and office drilling environments.
• Experience with UBD, MPD, CTD and ERD technologies.
• Proficient in drilling software (Landmark preferred).
• Experience in business planning for Wells and Drilling Operations.
• Proven track record leading drilling teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Drilling Integrated Project Management teams to execute ADNOC Biogenic Gas wells.
• Endorse and approve Drilling programs, well plans, and AFE for wells.
• Define Full Field Development Plans in collaboration with engineers and PET/Reservoir staff.
• Advise Exploration on drilling planning, prognosis, and technical requirements.
• Provide inputs to MIS and progress reports for management.
