Job description

Lead Digital project is responsible to lead functional packages within digital projects.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience leading and implementing digital transformation projects, supporting sales efforts, and providing consulting services to tier-1 clients such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, and others.

The consultant will bring domain expertise and hands-on experience with technologies and platforms such as AVEVA, Honeywell, and AspenTech to deliver transformative solutions around enterprise visualization, asset performance management, and integrated operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of digital asset management strategies and best practices across various projects in the oil & gas and renewables industries.

  • Work closely with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs.

  • Drive integration strategies across various shopfloor and enterprise systems (For example, MES, LIMS, ERP, SCADA, SAP, etc.).

  • Deliver business value assessments, develop use cases and perform solution prototyping (POCs).

  • Support clients through digital strategy formulation, architecture alignment, and roadmap creation.

  • Conduct workshops for requirement gathering, technical scoping, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Coordinate with engineering and IT teams (I&C, Telecom, Networking) to finalize solution architectures.

  • Define the operating philosophy for functions of Digital Centers as well as the remote operations and control of the geographically apart assets.

  • Existing operating model review and develop structured guiding principles for target operating model.

  • Develop financial models to evaluate potential ROI.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in Digital Transformation and IR 4.0.

  • Support business development efforts by contributing technical expertise to proposals and client presentations.

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices in all digital asset management activities.

  • Act as a principal functional consultant with a focus on service delivery, customer success, software development life cycle, and software configuration for Digital Twin, 4D/5D, 6D/7D Operations and Construction Management, and Information Management.

  • Engage in pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product demonstrations, proposed solution reviews internally and with clients, project scope and duration, schedule, and resource planning.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical, Petroleum or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital engineering, with a focus on asset lifecycle progress handover, advanced work packages, class library, and digital asset development.

  • Proven expertise in Aveva, Honeywell, and Yokogawa digital technologies.

  • Strong understanding of the oil & gas and renewables industries, including relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex digital projects on time and within budget.

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and stay current with industry trends and developments.
