Lead DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure And Automation

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to standardise DevOps practices, drive efficiencies, and promote a DevOps-first culture across the organisation.

Description

1. Lead the design, development, and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines.
2. Define SOPs and best practices for infrastructure automation and pipeline deployment.
3. Champion DevOps adoption across business units, mentoring teams and setting technical direction.
4. Deliver end-to-end infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and orchestration tools.
5. Manage cloud infrastructure - with a focus on Azure or AWS CloudWatch.
6. Collaborate with vendors to ensure tooling and services align with enterprise goals.
7. Integrate and enhance ITSM workflows within ServiceNow.
8. Monitor and ensure the reliability and performance of systems and deployments.

Minimum Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure roles.
2. Strong technical background in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms.
3. Experience with VMware Aria is beneficial but not mandatory.
4. Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, orchestration tools, and cloud monitoring.
5. Deep understanding of DevOps culture, practices, and tools.
6. Experience working with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
7. Confident communicator able to influence technical teams and business stakeholders alike.
8. Experience in global or regional organisations with distributed teams.
9. Candidates must be currently based in The UAE.
