Job summary

Talabat Holding is seeking a Senior Manager Data Science to lead the Global QC Hub's ML team. You will own the end-to-end ML workflow, from problem framing to deployment, and collaborate across Talabat and Delivery Hero to optimize pricing and boost operational efficiency.

You will guide causal inference, experimentation, and uplift modelling while mentoring ML engineers and data scientists, shaping the data platform, and driving impactful ML-driven decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• Expert in both classical machine learning and deep learning.
• Strong experience with classical ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience deploying and managing production ML systems at scale.
• Experience in recommendation, personalization, search, or logistics problems.
• Strong background in experiment design and statistical analysis (A/B, multivariate).
• Strong causal thinking and uplift modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the ML workflow from problem formulation to production deployment.
• Lead experimentation and causal inference to measure impact.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product/business managers.
• Drive recruitment and mentorship of ML engineers and data scientists.
