Job summary

talabat is seeking a Senior Manager Data Science for the Global QC Hub to lead and mentor a talented ML team. You will own the full ML lifecycle—from identifying opportunities to deployment—driving price optimization, uplift modelling, and operational intelligence across product and business teams in the GCC region and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or similar.
• 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering and data.
• 8+ years in machine learning at a high growth consumer product company or similar.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience in ML engineering or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Own the ML workflow from problem formulation to production deployment.
• Lead data analytics, data engineering, modeling, and reporting functions.
• Define the roadmap and priorities with engineering and business partners.
• Drive experimentation and causal inference with A/B and multivariate tests.
• Mentor ML engineers and data scientists; coach for results and leadership.
