Job summary

DXC Technology Company is seeking an experienced Data Centre Architect to lead the architecture and design of enterprise data centre facilities and critical infrastructure. The role covers space planning, power, cooling, cabling, security, resilience, and lifecycle management.

You will develop HLD/LLD, translate requirements into detailed designs, and ensure alignment with industry standards. Excellent leadership and cross-team coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years in data centre architecture/design or leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/MEP/IT related field is required.
• Certifications such as CDCP or Uptime Institute preferred.
• ITIL 4 Foundation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of data centre facilities and critical infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Translate capacity, availability, and business requirements into detailed data centre designs.
• Develop integrated solutions covering Civil, MEP, Electrical, Cooling, ELV, ICT, Security, and DCIM.
• Perform capacity planning for IT load, rack density, electrical capacity, cooling, and redundancy.
• Review IFC/shop drawings, equipment layouts, schematics, and design calculations.
• Coordinate CFD analysis to validate cooling performance and airflow management.
• Prepare technical specs and BOQs for data centre infrastructure.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and ISAT testing and commissioning.
• Provide governance during implementation to ensure alignment with standards.
• Develop testing and commissioning strategies for critical infrastructure.
• Support handover, operational readiness, and transition activities.
