Job summary

KBR, Inc. is looking for a Lead Commissioning Engineer – Mechanical System for an offshore wellhead tower/platform project based in Abu Dhabi. The role will involve integration of mechanical systems including subsea cable and piping, with a rotation cycle of 6 weeks on site and 3 weeks off.

The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in oil and gas, particularly with ADNOC projects. Key responsibilities include overseeing testing and validation to meet project milestones and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in wellhead tower, subsea cable, and piping on brownfield modification projects is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with ADNOC projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar commissioning leadership role on mega oil and gas FEED/EPC projects exceeding US$1 billion.

Position: Lead Commissioning Engineer – Mechanical System for an offshore well head tower/platform project. The role will begin in the client or contractor office in Abu Dhabi, move to the fabrication yard, and then to the offshore site on a rotation cycle of 6 weeks/3 weeks as required by the client.
