Job summary

NMDC Energy is seeking a Lead Commissioning Engineer to oversee commissioning activities for major Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, or Offshore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and successful handover of systems with strong interface management.

Exceptionally, offshore assignments may be required, with ADNOC or other major Middle East operators as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university.
• Relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, or equivalent.
• Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
• Offshore certifications such as BOSIET/HUET are required for offshore assignments, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Commissioning Engineer / Commissioning Lead role experience (5+ years).
• Strong experience in EPC/EPCI projects, preferably within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, or Offshore facilities.
• Proven experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and system handover.
• Strong multidisciplinary commissioning and interface management experience.
• Offshore experience is preferred/mandatory depending on project requirements.

Bachelor's degree in engineering
