Job Purpose:
The Lead Civil Engineer is responsible for the technical assurance & compliance of the CONTRACTOR to the COMPANY’s specific discipline scope, specifications, respective governing codes & standards & industry best practices. Roles & responsibilities includes reviews & approvals of discipline related documentation (secure technical authority approval for Class 1 documents), participation in discipline progress meetings with Contractor counter-part, Planned design review sessions, review & resolution of discipline specific Technical queries, verification of discipline specific concession requests (as applicable) & provide input (approval or rejection) with justification.
Support Procurements activities & relevant documents review & approvals, VENDOR documents review, physical inspection as required.
Support Construction & commissioning activities by involvement in respective Discipline inspections & punch listing activities as applicable for release of respective certifications (DAC/MC,,etc.)
Verification of Final discipline specific Documentation & Database at handover & confirm completeness & correctness.
PMC & ADNOC experiences are preferrable.
