Job Title: Lead Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to oversee the civil engineering aspects of a large-scale energy project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design, construction, and management of civil infrastructure for oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the civil engineering design and construction of raw gas gathering and compression facilities, gas processing facilities, storage tanks, export terminals, and pipelines.
2. Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
3. Oversee site preparation, foundation works, structural designs, and other civil engineering components.
4. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of civil works with overall project objectives.
5. Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
6. Prepare and review project documentation, including engineering drawings, reports, and specifications.
7. Manage resources, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of civil engineering tasks.
8. Implement and enforce safety and quality standards across all civil engineering activities.
9. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on oil and gas infrastructure projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in large-scale projects.
4. Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
6. Familiarity with BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer) contract models is a plus.
7. Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
